About the Panelists
Our WoC in Film & TV panel discussion featured Victoria Page, a television and Film editor, Jordana David, who is a makeup artist, beauty expert, and podcast host of 2020 Remedy Podcast, Lilian Manansala, Actor, Dancer, and Choreographer, who is also getting her masters in Journalism, Naeema Jamilah Torres, an award-winning documentary Filmmaker and Storyteller, who is part of the leadership for Mezcla Collective, a collective of Women and nonbinary filmmakers of color in Chicago, Last but certainly not least, Stacey Evans Morgan, is an entertainment industry veteran with television writer and producer credits from some of our favorite shows, The Parkers, One on One, Jamie Foxx Show, Love That Girl, Family Time, In The Cut and most recently the new DreamWorks Animation series Madagascar: A Little Wild and so much more! We discussed how each guest broke into the industry, the importance of networking, representation, all with some affirmations for the vets and youth looking to get into the industry!
